I would be lying if I said photography was easy for me. As a perfectionist with a dash of imposter syndrome I tend to spend countless hours trying to give you that feeling you feel when you gaze at these portraits. Moments when im behind the camera it feels like an outer body experience being that i still get nervous from time to time. My biggest challenge but favorite is finding that silver lining that brings it all together. From framing, down to color, my pride is giving you something that you can feel, just like En Vouge :). Giving you a sense of calm and a feeling of warmth. I try my hardest to encapsulate the aura of my subject in the snap of a shutter in a minimalistic but meaningful way.
Enjoy

Photographing Jay Ellis was a highlight for me because it was a very random moment that transpired. A group of friends of mine all gathered and took photos during our own organized photo walk. Jay Ellis happened to walk by and see us and actually approached us. I asked him to join us and he was actually very warming and spontaneous. This was the result of that moment for me.
